Construction Sand Demand to Jump in the Southern Tip of China

                                      By Aggregate China Committee

China’s plan for the Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Zone is now set in the stone, expected to proliferate massive demand for construction sand due to the ensuing infrastructure construction in the Southernmost part of China.

The Greater Bay Are
The core of this Greater Bay Area Initiative is to build in this area a new economic power to lead the growth in South China by connecting Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China with an optimized transport network, achieving effective sharing of information and resources. Therefore, it has been placed high on the agenda to build the world-class airports and harbors cluster, prefect the highway and rail transport network, urge the construction of a safer and stabler water and power line system, and upgrade this area’s information and communication network.

Hainan Free Trade Zone
Looking to be China’s new window to the world, the Hainan Free Trade Zone is going to strengthen its infrastructure across the following aspects: land reclamation for its new airport, underground pipelines, maritime transport, aquaculture and fishing, transport connection with the Greater Bay Area.

The Widening Supply-Demand Gap for Construction Sand
Ever since the ban on river sand mining, a supply-demand gap of construction sand has been occurred. Now with the foreseeable high demand driven by the Greater Bay Area and the Hainan Free Trade Zone, the adoption of crushed sand and desalted sea sand is brought to the foreground.

To meet the demand, China welcomes all overseas enterprises with great solutions for construction sand manufacturing. If you are ready to grab your opportunities, please join us now at the 4th China International Aggregates, Quarry Tailings & Construction Waste Disposal Exhibition (Aggregate China 2018)!
